Doklady Biological Sciences is a bimonthly journal containing English translations of current Russian research in the anatomy cytology ecology embryology endocrinology evolutionary morphology experimental morphology genetic histology hydrobiology immunology microbiology morphology parasitology physiology virology and zoology sections of the Doklady Akademii Nauk (Proceedings of the Russian Academy of Sciences). The Proceedings appear 36 times per year; articles from the selected biological sections are collected translated and published bimonthly. Doklady Biological Sciences publishes the most significant new research in the biological sciences being done in Russia today thus ensuring its scientific priority.
