This niche team is looking to expand due to the investment in this area from the business which is down to the approach they take on being able to deliver pure cutting edge technologies to different business areas for their demanding client base rapidly. The role needs a strong SQL data warehouse developer who has the ability to utilise the full Business Intelligence stack with a large emphasis on ETL and SSIS however they are still utilising SSAS and SSRS.

Your main responsibility as a Therapy Account Specialist is for all clinical (prescribing / non-prescribing) customers across primary and secondary care who influence treatment guidelines, patient diagnosis and management. Key Responsibilities

IT Project Manager - Brokerage required for a position within a leading brokerage in the heart of London. The IT Project Manager - Brokerage will be required to join a centralised, group IT function within this organisation - overseeing multiple business streams and projects across the firm.

The IT Project Manager - Brokerage will become an integural part of the permanent layer of the team, assisted by SME contractors to ensure delivery to the highest degree. The IT Project Manager - Brokerage will be required to liaise at senior stakeholder management level, directors and technical SME's.

The IT Project Manager - Brokerage will be expected to act as a "self starter", "self reliant", "Strong report writing capabilities and communication is key". The role as IT Project Manager - Brokerage will also require a strong character to enable immedaite and future raport and respect from the front office traders.

The IT Project Manager - Brokerage would ideally have a project Management certification of some kind and should be familiar with ITIL (Change and release management) and would ideally have some knowledge/exposure to TOGAF Architecture environments.

Your role will require you to have full life cycle experience from start up through to close out. We have a busy Pacemaker/ICD follow-up service on the back of being the leading implant centre in Surrey for heart failure devices and ICDs. Our busy angiography suites carry out diagnostic and interventional catheterisation along with electrophysiology studies, ablations and device implantation.

As part of this very busy department you will have the opportunity to be a key member of the departmental staff, services are offered on two Hospital sites and successful applicants would be expected to rotate across both.

Some experience is necessary, but on-going training will be given to the successful candidate, with a view to professional certification. This is a full time post but part-time or job share opportunities would be considered.

The successful candidate will work as part of the highly specialised team performing echo modalities including TOE and DSE, Paediatrics, ACHD and TAVIs, TDI and 3D/4D techniques. Our ideal candidate would have experience of ACHD and paediatric echocardiography.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced pharmacist to join our team supporting Research and Innovation within the Trust. Primarily the post holder will be responsible for the management of our growing portfolio of clinical trials with the support of clinical trial technicians who are based on the Wycombe and Stoke Mandeville sites.

We provide support for clinical trials in a wide range of specialties including oncology, haematology, dermatology, spinal injuries, stroke, and cardiology.

You will be the pharmacy representative to the Trust Research and Innovation Department and will be expected to work with Consultants, Research Nurses and Research managers.

You will have at least four years postgraduate experience preferably with a postgraduate diploma. Experience of working with clinical trials is desirable but training will be provided.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the CNWL adult psychology service at Royal Brompton and Harefield Trust. We are looking for two enthusiastic and able individuals to provide clinical health psychology services to patients and families with heart and lung conditions both pre and post surgery. The post holder will also work closely with the multidisciplinary and medical teams to provide advice, training and consultation on the psychological management of patients. Professional line management and supervision will be provided by the consultant clinical psychologist at the Brompton Hospital (for one post) and the 8b clinical psychologist at Harefield (for the other post).


There are strong links and strategic working with clinical health psychology staff at both Hillingdon and South Kensington and Chelsea mental health centres with over 20 wte’s working in this speciality. Areas currently covered include sexual health, oncology and palliative care, bariatric surgery, burns, CFS/ME, women’s services, urology, pain management, cardiac rehabilitation, diabetes and COPD.

The appointee may choose to work in more than one speciality during the year.

You will also participate in the out of hours on-call rota (currently 1:12 full shift including weekends and nights).

Previous experience at SHO level, or higher grade in General Medicine are essential requirements for this post. MRCP is not essential.

We are looking to recruit a new member into our rapidly expanding cardiology department. We have an excellent PCI service and operate two cardiac catheter labs, which incorporates a set on-call service (Monday-Friday). We are currently developing an ICD/CRT implantation and follow up service. We already offer an extensive service including diagnostic angiography, bradycardia pacemaker and implantable loop recorders with busy technician led follow up clinics.

The department is also further developing our echocardiography service, with the introduction of 3D and quantative analysis for dyssynchrony studies. Our service already includes Dobutamine stress echo and TOE.

We offer an advanced pulmonary function facility including a body box, 6 minute walks and overnight oximetry studies.

The two demanding cardio-respiratory departments offer a wide variety of non-invasive diagnostic tests, which include ECG, BP holter monitor and analysis, cardiomemos, spirometry and technician and doctor-led exercise testing.

There is an opportunity to acquire new skills with a chance to work in a variety of areas across the trust; therefore not all of the above skills are required, as training will be provided. You will be a key member of the cardiology team, working closely with a variety of patients and staff.

As part of this very busy department you will have the opportunity to rotate through all areas of the department and appropriate training will be given where necessary. Services are offered across two hospital sites and the successful applicant would be expected to cross site work, a shuttle bus is in operation.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the North Hampshire Hospital, Basingstoke in the Cardiothoracic Investigations Department.

We are looking for a newly qualified cardiac physiologist to rotate through ambulatory ECG analysis, cardiac catheterisation (including emergency PCI and on-call), pulmonary function testing, exercise testing (including Physiologist led Rapid Access Chest Pain Clinic), and pacemaker implantation and follow-up. In addition there will be opportunities to pursue training and specialist qualifications in other areas including echocardiography and ICD implantation and follow-up.

This is an opportunity for an individual to work and train with a highly motivated team of staff in a modern, well-equipped and rapidly expanding cardiac investigations department which has a successful history in education and training.

Rotational Clinical Pharmacist

Are you ready to progress your career to a Band 7 post but don’t wish to specialise just yet? This new Band 7 rotational post with 3-monthly rotations through medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, stroke, cardiology, respiratory, and paediatrics may be the post you are looking for. You will need to be an experienced clinical pharmacist demonstrating a high level of professional practice and with a systematic approach to patient care and be experienced enough to work independently. The posts are an opportunity to build on your previous experience, developing greater autonomy and responsibility.

This post will allow you to develop your advanced level competencies and you will have the opportunity to supervise, teach and mentor the rotational Band 6 and pre-registration pharmacists, university students and trainee medicines management technicians.

Candidates must be registered as a pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council and possess, or be coming towards the end of, a post-graduate Diploma in clinical or general pharmacy. Experience of the provision of clinical pharmacy services, including medicines reconciliation, is essential.

Rotational Clinical Pharmacist

Are you ready to progress your career to a Band 7 post but don’t wish to specialise just yet? This new Band 7 rotational post with 3-monthly rotations through medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, stroke, cardiology, respiratory, and paediatrics may be the post you are looking for. You will need to be an experienced clinical pharmacist demonstrating a high level of professional practice and with a systematic approach to patient care and be experienced enough to work independently. LOCUM CONSULTANT POST IN CARDIAC ANAESTHESIA SPECIALIST SUPPORT DIRECTORATE

A Locum Consultant Cardiac Anaesthetist is required for Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust Anaesthetic Department.
The post is for 6 months initially renewable by mutual consent.
Nottingham University Hospitals Trust was created by the merger of Queens Medical Centre and Nottingham City Hospital. There are Anaesthetic Departments based at each campus, both are large and active departments which have close operational links. The Anaesthetic Departments are also integrated with the Critical Care and Pain Management Services, which with Theatres form the Specialist Support Directorate (SSD).
The Clinical Director for SSD is Mr Adam Brooks and the Head of Service for Theatres and Anaesthesia is Dr Jo Lamb. There is, in addition, a Specialty Lead on each campus; Dr Pam Wake at the City campus and Dr John Emery at the QMC campus.

The cardiac surgery unit at the City campus provides an adult cardiac surgical service to the East Midlands. The current anaesthetic service to cardiac surgery is provided by 5 consultant anaesthetists. These anaesthetists are currently dedicated to supporting interventional cardiology, cardiac surgery and cardiac intensive care (CICU) with some sessions additionally in other surgical specialties. There are two dedicated cardiac surgery theatres running 5 days per week. Each consultant anaesthetist typically provides cover for cardiac intensive care one day each week and for whole day operating lists two days a week. They also provide cover to interventional cardiology where required. The locum appointee would provide flexible cover during the week and may also be required to undertake on call duties.
Across the two campuses there are a total of 47 operating theatres. All surgical specialties are covered between the two campuses. With regard to specialties; cardiac, thoracic, renal, orthopaedics, gynaecology and burns and plastics are located at the City campus which is also where most of the cancer surgery is undertaken.

The locum appointee will have a flexible job plan although it may be possible to accommodate specific areas of interest. The post-holder would be well supported within this busy department.
The Clinical Departments of Anaesthesia maintain close links with the University Department headed by Professor Ravi Mahajan. The Clinical and University departments collaborate to provide teaching for undergraduates in addition to all grades of anaesthetic trainees.

Locally, specialty training in anaesthesia is managed by the Nottingham and East Midlands School of Anaesthesia, part of the East Midlands Deanery. The Anaesthetic departments are actively involved in the training of specialty trainees at all levels and the School of anaesthesia has an excellent reputation.

Two posts are based at the Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (EMLETB North) (commencing August 2015 and November 2015) and four posts are based at the University Hospitals of Leicester (EMLETB South) (2 commencing August 2014 and 2 February 2015, with the possibility of 2 further posts commencing August 2015 or February 2016 depending on candidate availability).

The training programmes are competency based (in accordance with the recommendations of the FICM) and will be tailored to the requirements of the successful applicant for a duration of 12 months (advanced level training), to 18 months (intermediate and advanced level training).
Applicants would be expected to have completed the FICM basic requirements for recognised training in complementary specialities: 3 months ICM, 6 months acute GIM (of which 3 months may be Emergency Medicine) and 6 months anaesthesia. (Training in these complementary specialities may occasionally be possible for those who have not completed this at ST 1/2 level).
All critical care areas throughout the EMLETB are recognised by the Royal Colleges of Anaesthetists, Physicians, and Surgeons, the College of Emergency Medicine and by the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine to provide Step 1 and Step 2 training (Grade 4 Units). There are well-established educational programmes, co-ordinated audit programmes, and on-going research programmes.
These posts are intended for trainees interested in the highly rewarding speciality of Adult Critical Care who wish to gain experience and obtain a Joint CCT including Adult Critical Care Medicine. Trainees must have the agreement of the Chair/ Programme Director of their local specialityTraining School. The trainees exact training requirements will be agreed prior to commencement but some secondment to other Adult Intensive Care Units, Paediatric ICU or Cardio-thoracic ICU may be arranged.

Papworth Hospital has rotational and invasive posts available to Band 5/6Cardiac physiologists.

We provide cardiothoracic services to East Anglia and beyond as a leading tertiary cardiac centre and can therefore offer ALL aspects of Cardiac Physiology,
including electrophysiology, 3D echo, physiologist led ILR implants, ICD/PPM implant and follow-up, TAVI and PPCI.

There will be ample opportunity to multi-skill through these and more sub-specialties within cardiac physiology and therefore gain valuable experience in all areas.

Staff are actively encouraged to attend national and international meetings.

We have a busy student training program and we offer good opportunity for continuing professional development, including HRUK, BSE and IBHRE.

The department is looking for enthusiastic, reliable physiologists to join this service and to increase their experience in cardiology.
