Job Description

The Department of Computer Science invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. Job duties include conducting a research program that results in refereed publications and external funding, teaching effectively at the graduate and undergraduate levels, supervising student research and serving at the department, college, university, and professional levels.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must have completed all requirements for a Ph.D. with specialization in Software Engineering by September 1, 2011. A demonstrated record of excellence in research, potential for excellence in external funding, teaching and service, and effective oral and written communication are essential.
