Job description

Teach multiple sections of MIS 2003 Information Technology Concepts for Business--a required service course for all business majors. This is an 11-month appointment. Serve as the IT Coordinator of the DCOBA, responsible for all technology issues (e.g., website, server, and network maintenance, hardware maintenance, etc.) associated with the college. Serve as the liaison between the college and the university IT department.

Qualifications

Qualifications include an earned master's degree in MIS or related fields, evidence of potential for excellence in teaching, and a commitment to actively engage in service to the College, University and community.

This position is designated as security sensitive and requires the finalist to complete a criminal background check.

Midwestern State University is located in Wichita Falls, TX. With a population over 103,000, Wichita Falls is centrally located two hours between Dallas and Oklahoma City, OK. MSU has a student enrollment of approximately 6400 and competes in the Lone Star Conference (NCAA Division II).
