Program Manager Job - New Projects Oncology (m/f)

The Position

In this function, you are engaged in the renewal of our existing portfolio of Oncology research projects which is focused on antibody based cancer therapeutics.

• You will oversee/coordinate internal target assessment activities at our Discovery Oncology Site in Penzberg, Germany.
• In parallel, you will reach out for 'external innovation' to academic institutions and/or biotech companies towards novel antibody-based cancer therapeutics (targets, antibodies, technologies)
• You will also contribute to the global evaluation of opportunities to in-license cancer drug candidates in different phases of preclinical or clinical development.

You are an experienced PhD and/or MD with significant experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry (ideally ten years and including experience with biologics)

• You have a deep and continuously updated knowledge of molecular pathways which drive the progression of tumors; experience in cancer systems biology would be welcome.
• You are familiar with state of the art approaches for target assessment.
• You have a demonstrated record of accomplishments (e.g. publications in scientific journals, issued patents).
• You have excellent communication skills as well as good writing, presentation & organizational skills; fluency in English, both written and spoken is a must.
