Job description

Minimum qualifications

The qualified candidate must possess a Ph.D. in Biology, Biological Sciences, Life Sciences or other related field; a proven interest in cancer research; excellent English skills (both written and verbal); and current U.S. work authorization. Also, competency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and EndNote; ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, complete work and meet deadlines; must be detail-oriented, highly motivated, and committed to achieving excellence in the form of productivity and publications; willingness and ability to work with research animals.


Preference

Experience in the area of NF-kB2 signaling in lymphoma development. Studies employ animal models and human cell lines. Experience and training in the areas of lymphoma/leukemia, lymphocyte development, cancer genomics and/or histopathology are preferable.


Responsibilities

The chosen candidate(s) will be responsible for conducting research in the NIH-funded laboratory of Dr. Han-Fei Ding. The basic and translational research focus of this laboratory includes molecular mechanisms that control lymphocyte development, cell cycle progression, and cell death regulation.
