Overview:


Develop and maintain custom extensions, interfaces and add-ons to Oracle Financial Applications modules. Provide end user support for the customizations as well as the standard Oracle Financials and Order Management functionality. Individuals are expected to handle various assignments in both a maintenance/support mode and in a new development role in an Oracle Applications 11i multi-org, global environment. Assignments require in-depth knowledge of Oracle's standard interfaces, the ability to create and modify data extracts, reports, and other extensions to standard Oracle Apps functionality. In addition to the skills/experience summarized below, strong oral and written communication skills, project planning and an ability to effectively interact with business process & functional users is critical.


Responsibilities:


• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a closely related discipline to be determined by business needs or equivalent technical experience. Master Degree preferred.
• Experience as a developer in an Oracle DBMS 9i/10g/11g environment.
• 7+ years experience with Oracle development tools and utilities, including SQL*Plus, SQL*Loader, Oracle Developer Version 6.0, TOAD, Oracle Forms and Reports 6i, Workflow, XML, PL/SQL, Applications Object Library. • Working knowledge of Oracle's Discoverer/BI publisher reporting tool. Ability to create, modify and debug queries as needed.
• 5+ years experience with at least two of the following Oracle modules: Oracle Accounts Receivable, Oracle Project Accounting, Oracle Accounts Payable, Oracle Order Management, Oracle Purchasing and Oracle General Ledger. Combination of technical and functional (i.e. business process) skills is required.
• Oracle Applications experience must include significant exposure to version 11i. (11.5.7 or higher).
• Understanding of common accounting practices and terminology.
• Experience in writing Unix shell scripts to manage import/export processes.
• Good analytical/problem solving skills and understanding of SDLC process.
• Ability to handle cross-functional tasks in parallel.

Good to have:
• Development using OA Framework.
• Web service development using SOA.
• Experience with Oracle Process Manufacturing and Trade Management.
• Development and implementation experience in regulated environment.
