- The job purpose is to lead the evaluation, development and validation of on-line analytical and chemometrics methods for drug products for implementation in Technical Research & Development and/or in Technical Operations.
- To develop our growing pipeline of products, we are looking for experienced professionals in the area of process analytical technology and chemometrics.
- In this challenging position, you will play a key role in the evaluation and implementation of PAT technologies to support the development of oral solid dosage forms.
- You will develop process analytical methods to ensure real time process monitoring and control during the development and manufacture of drug products.
- We will rely on you to apply PAT and other analytical tools to improve process understanding to speed-up development and scale-up of manufacturing processes and to develop methods ensuring real time release of production batches.
- We will on you to use process analyzers and spectrometers to elucidate and/or improve processes to ensure high quality products are developed applying risk analysis and QbD methodologies.
- We will rely on you to lead the transfer, validation and implementation of in-line/on-line/at-line process analyzers and spectrometers to Technical Operations.
- We will count on you to work closely with project teams to define the elements of of a PAT submission for real time release of production batches and to support Regulatory CMC documentation preparation of post-approval regulatory changes involving PAT technologies.
- You will be responsible for instrument selection, qualification and maintenance of new innovative PAT technologies.
- We will rely on you to evolve in a global multidisciplinary network organization where facilitation, coaching and coordination skills are keys to achieve sustainable performance.

Minimum Requirements:

- M.Sc. in Engineering, Statistics/Chemometrics, Analytical Chemistry or equivalent. 2-3 years of successful industry experience in process analytics and process development in pharmaceutical, chemical, petrochemical, food or related industry.
- Proficiency in English, German skills are advantageous.
