Applications are invited for a Research Assistant to join the laboratory of Professor Paul Fletcher to work in the field of neuroimaging research. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to work on structural MR image processing and analysis. Specifically this research post will support investigations in to millimeter-scale cortical morphology in developmental datasets. Previous experience in structural neuroimaging would be preferable.
Applicants are expected to have a good track record in a technical degree (e.g. the physical sciences or engineering), and an interest in the mechanics of brain structure. Most importantly the applicant should have a strong aptitude for independent problem-solving and a methodological approach to their work.
Previous experience of Matlab and basic coding is desirable though not essential. Training will be provided for all specific image processing techniques used.
