8th World Meeting on Pharmaceutics, Biopharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology

Mar 19, 2012 - Mar 22, 2012 · Istanbul, Turkey

Industry and Academia meet up in Istanbul!

The development of medicines has become increasingly challenging in recent years. Our
continuous progress towards a better understanding of many diseases has led us to new
therapies, new targets and finally new drugs that are extremely demanding. On the one
hand small molecules and biologics require new technologies to make them available to
the patient. On the other hand new products and generics need to be affordable which
is putting a tremendous pressure on their industrial production. This development is
posing not only major challenges to research, development and manufacturing but also
to all aspects related to the safety of products from quality control to regulatory affairs.
APGI (French “Association de Pharmacie Galénique Industrielle”), APV (German
“International Association for Pharmaceutical Technology”) and A.D.R.I.T.E.L.F. (Italian
“Associazione Docenti Ricercatori Italiani di Tecnologie e Legislazione Farmaceutiche”)
invite you to discuss the risks, opportunities and challenges of this development.-------------->
